Lead Lined Glass, Leaded X-Ray Glass & Frames

Radiation Protection Products manufactures several styles of lead lined glass, lead windows and frames. We can assist you with design, estimates and installation, as well as complete turnkey solutions for all your radiation protection needs.

Lead Windows

Radiation Protection Products offers complete lead window solutions. Incorporating our leaded glass and lead lined window frames, our lead windows provide effective radiation shielding and outstanding visibility in any application. Custom window sizes and configurations are available to meet your unique requirements.

Leaded X-Ray Glass

Our lead windows deliver visual clarity, high light transmission, and little to no distortion. They’re ideal for x-ray rooms, radiation therapy rooms, laboratories, and other applications. We offer x-ray glass in a range of standard sizes and equivalencies of 1.6 mm, 2.0 mm, 2.5 mm, and 3.2 mm (specials available upon request).

Lead X-Ray Safety Glass

Radiation Protection Products offers laminated lead lined glass for use in control room windows within 24” of door opening. Our impact resistant lead windows are available in two types, one using a 3M film, and one using a laminate interlayer. Both meet ANSI Z97.1 and CPSC 16 CFR 1201 codes. Both varieties of leaded safety glass are available in multiple sizes and thicknesses to meet your needs.

Lead Lined Window Frames

We offer standard steel telescopic lead lined window frames and splayed lead lined window frames. Telescopic frames can be manufactured to accommodate any thickness of x-ray glass and are adjustable to wall thickness. Splayed frames will accept up to 2” thick lead lined glass. Special construction of lead lined frames is also available to meet your specifications.
